Returns and refunds

Caesar Archivum is a small archive. Most of the pieces here are made one at a time, by hand, after you reserve them. The policy below is written carefully so you know what you can and cannot return, and why.

Pieces in the archive (in stock)

If you bought a piece that was already made and ready to ship, you may return it within 14 days of arrival, unworn, in original condition, with the box and care card. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 business days of the piece arriving back. Return shipping is at your cost unless the piece arrived damaged or not as described.

Commissioned pieces (made to order, the Final Window)

Commissioned pieces are made for you. Once a commission has been sent to the jewellers, it cannot be returned or refunded.

You may cancel a reservation for a full refund within 48 hours of placing it, or until your piece has been sent to the jewellers — whichever comes first. After that point, the commission is in motion and the piece is being made for you alone.

Engagement rings (the studio)

Studio pieces are bespoke. Once your final design is approved and a 50% deposit is paid, the commission cannot be cancelled or refunded. The deposit secures the metal, the stones, and the bench time.

Damaged or faulty pieces

If a piece arrives damaged, or develops a fault within 30 days of arrival that is not from wear, write to hello@caesararchivum.com with photographs. We will repair, replace, or refund — whichever is right for the piece.

What we cannot accept

Pieces that have been worn, altered, or resized. Pieces returned without their box or care card. Pieces returned more than 14 days after arrival. Commissioned pieces past the cancellation window above.
