Historical context

Asters were planted on graves in ancient Greece as symbols of remembrance. Their name comes from the Greek aster, meaning star. Romans believed they bloomed where Astraea, the star maiden, wept for the fallen.

18k Gold Vermeil band, thin and close to the finger. Oval moissanite centre stone, faceted.

Smaller stones scattered around the central setting, with a few more set into little buds that climb the shoulders. Hand-set, irregular in placement. The asymmetry is intentional.
